Ways to Give

Indiana Regional Medical Center kicked off its 7th annual Love of Life Campaign Friday, July 22 with a gala event at the Silas M. Clark History House. During this event, Stacey and Gary Wyant unveiled their latest signature diamond jewelry piece to benefit the M. Dorcas Clark, MD, Women’s Imaging Center at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Funds raised by the Love of Life Campaign are used to educate and promote the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer and assist with the purchase of the center’s digital mammography equipment. The Wyants have gifted an original piece annually to memorialize their grandmothers whom they both lost to breast cancer.

Support Love of Life by attending the 5K Run/Walk or Bike Ride/Walk or by purchasing a ticket to win a diamond ring!

Purchase a Chance to Win "Eradication"

This year's piece is entitled Eradication. "The one carat princess cut diamond, placed at a 'North 'South 'East 'West orientation symbolizes the on-course direction of cancer treatment. The navigational compass overpowers and dissolves the cluster of Pave' diamonds to promise the future eradication of cancer," states Wyant.

Valued at $13,500. All taxes are paid for by Indiana Regional Medical Center. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the M. Dorcas Clark, MD, Women’s Imaging Center or by calling 724.357.8053.

Bicycle Ride/Walk

A 13.5 mile bicycle run will take place on Sunday, September 25th beginning at Saylor Park in Black Lick, PA and continuing on the Ghost Town Trail. After which there will be a pizza party at Whitey’s Peetza and Eatery in Coral. Registration is $20. To register please call 724.357.7164.

5K Walk/Run (3.1 mi.)

When: Saturday, October 15th at 9 a.m.
Where: 8th & Philadelphia Streets

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

• Pre-registered participants check in at race start area: 8th St. and Philadelphia.
• Day of race participants check in at: The Gingerbread Man Running Company (714 Philadelphia St.).

Tech T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered by 9/25/11. $20 early registration fee until 10/08/11. $22 full registration fee on race day.
